Trauma intensives allow you to concentrate on healing and treatment in a concentrated way without the start, stop and pause of traditional therapy. An intensive allows you to step away from the daily routine of life, work with a professional for an extended period of time to resolve trauma.
Intensives are currently offered in person in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Virtual options are currently not offered.
There are many wonderful options in the area. Lodging is up to the individual participant and there are local Air BnB's, many bed and breakfasts, and hotels in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
The cost of a trauma intensive is based on the number of clinical hours needed. Dr. Keith will estimate the time needed during the initial discovery call. In order to secure your dates for the intensive a 50% deposit will be due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due at the start of the intensive.
If something comes up and you are unable to attend your Intensive, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling. Rescheduling will not affect your deposit or payment. If you need to cancel the intensive entirely, any deposit money already paid will be returned minus a $500 scheduling fee.
Health insurance does not cover the cost of intensive trauma work.
Typically, sessions will begin around 9 am, with a lunch break around noon and ending around 4 pm, though that schedule is entirely flexible to accommodate the work being pursued. Depending on the nature of the processing, breaks will be taken as needed. The amount of time we will be working each day will fluctuate depending entirely on the work we are doing. The nice part about Intensives is the flexibility afforded to tailor fit the work to what your system needs at the time. A one-hour lunch break (sometimes longer if needed) will be taken each day.
