Dr. Keith is a board approved supervisor for counseling residents in Virginia and Vermont. The focus of supervision is on developing sound therapeutic style to meet a variety of multicultural needs in rural communities. Supervision is centered on the growth of the counselor both personally and professionally with dual focus during supervision sessions. Dr. Keith functions as a supervisor, consultant, teacher, and mentor during both individual and group supervision.
Intention toward acquisition of treatment strategies for single source and complex trauma is essential for residents. During the supervision process residents are exposed to somatic, mindfulness, and holistic techniques for the treatment of trauma.
Virtual individual and group supervision is available to graduates of CACREP Clinical Mental Health master's degree programs in the state of Virginia.
In person, individual supervision is available in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont to counseling associates.
